Backstoltz in Potsdam

I find the inn up-to-date for all occasions, whether with a husband, friends or family; ) It totally blew us away. Good cost-performance ratio. The restaurant really has the potential to become my new hangout. Not only the attentive restaurant staff was the big hit during our visit, but also the unique ambience.

The shop has once again lived up to its name. Cake fresh from the tray in the mouth, excellent. Such a seat cushion on the wooden chairs would still be good, is certainly not a bad intention. Would love to come back.

Sweet little café with a very friendly staff. We "only" drank coffee and ate nothing. The coffee was really good. Lovely again!

My boyfriend and I found the choice of drinks to be awesome! From our point of view, a detour is absolutely recommended. The armchairs are extremely comfortable and the distance between the seats is extremely adequate. There you don't get the feeling of dining in the can like cucumbers in the back and front, fast and friendly service. I think that all the local staff did a very good job there.

Nice and cozy little café. Staff is very nice. Cake was good. The daily specials made a very good impression.

Great food, lovely service, very welcoming hosting and a very good place to start a day. Every thing is fresh, tasty and special combinations of ingredients.

Unexpectedly amazing. Veal was amongst the best meals I’ve had in Europe so far.

The restaurant is not very large and may perhaps mislead: it is two separate rooms, although in reality the manager is unique. The a la carte menu changes daily, which is good, the owners keep to their business. Personally, I ate a plate of gnocchi with truffles, with sausage and spinach, really very good! In short, a highly recommended place for those visiting Potsdam.

Atmosphere nice. At noon most people eating breakfast. Fried fish ok with something that probably was intended to be a risotto but was not prepared for each customer. The experience was ok until the end. The young lady asked me wheather I needed the change. I didn’t understand what she meant because it was such an odd question, but answered yes - even so she didn’t give me anything back!

It's my girlfriend's birthday today, so I was looking for a nice way to have breakfast. The shop is quite small (6 tables) but very nicely decorated. We ate the "breakfast for two" with one extra hot chocolate each. The hot chocolate was delicious! Had I not been so full, I would have taken 2 (: The breakfast was also very tasty and the selection on our platter was large and of very high quality (fruit, salami, ham, cheese). You just tasted it. In addition, you could have ordered cakes (pieces) from the in-house confectionery. The service, I think "Pete", was very easy, quick and friendly. Can recommend this bistro at any time.

The menu is short (4 daily specials) but it makes up for it thanks to the freshness of the ingredients. A worthwile experience. Check however the daily specials before you decide to sit for you might not find something that spurs your appetite.

Great place for a quick lunch. And amazing place for a nice pastry or cake!!! It is a much eat. Very good coffee and service is terrific. Speaks several languages....
